The 2017 Lincoln MKZ has received a subtle cosmetic makeover, plus an assortment of interior upgrades and more user-friendly climate and audio controls. The reviewer observed that the interior is nicely isolated from the outside noise, and the car offers drivers and passengers a comfortable, plush ride.
The 2017 Lincoln MKZ comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder that powers out 245-horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, or you can upgrade to the available new 3.0-liter direct injection twin-turbocharged V-6 that generates 350-horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The Hybrid trim offers a 2.0-liter gas engine/electric-engine combination that the reviewer described as capable for most driving situations.
The Lincoln MKZ includes such standard safety features as front side-impact and side curtain airbags, blind spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, collision warning, electronic traction and stability control and adaptive cruise control. In safety tests conducted by the government, the Lincoln MKZ received five out of five stars for overall crash safety and frontal collision safety.
